Hi folks, missing you all.  Thought we would update you on Mouthful O’Jam moving forward.  Unbelievably it is almost a year since we last held a live event! After an amazing first three months of 2020, we're sorry to say that we won't be running any more events until the current restrictions are lifted. We're looking forward to seeing all that pent-up dancing energy on the dance floor when we re-open! Meantime, we are running monthly streaming events from our Facebook group where our top 78 DJs take turns to pep up your ears, and hopefully your feet, with the best jazz music on the original shellac records! Hot on the Heels of our amazing 10 year anniversary special we have for you our next wonderful night of vintage delights and dancing revelry! So folks the band for March is Aisha Khan and the Rajas.  If you haven’t seen this band you need to make it a priority as they are getting booked for bigger venues. They are a must see and just perfect for dancing. The band are some of the most experienced musicians around and Aisha’s vocal work is simply stunning. We have made a New Year's pledge to keep the musicians coming in! And what a wonderful way to keep you all on those twinkly toes! Our fabulous DJ combo Swing Maniac, Kid Krupa, Rohan The Man and StompDown Geoff will be on the decks to delight you with hot jazz, jump, moody blues and sizzlin' swing, keeping you moving on the dance floor into the early hours. 10 full years of Mouthful O' Jam! This is it! We expect a right old knees up and extra special attire from all our regulars! You know what we are all about! Featuring Corrina and the Cortinas as our live band, plus our amazing quartet of DJs serving up nothing but the best sizzlers on those wheels of steel!  Beginners swing dance lesson with the wonderful Gaia at the start of the evening then it's celebrations all the way through 'til 2!
